Dad’s Phone

A widowed father says goodbye to his teenage daughter Lidia as she leaves for university in another country, and the two of them are left figuring out how to stay close from a distance. The tone stays sincere rather than jokey about it.

The story follows both sides of that separation: Lidia settling into a new life abroad, and her father learning to loosen his grip while still being the one she texts when things get hard or exciting. Their phone becomes the only thread connecting the two households.

The game itself is entirely text-based, built around reading and replying to messages between father and daughter as her situation shifts. There’s no exploration or minigame layer over it, just the conversation and the static art that goes with it.
