Night City doesn't care about your feelings, and neither do the corporations or gangs running it. You steer David and Kate through that grind, choosing between clinging to whatever humanity they have left and just getting by, with every choice trailing consequences you'll be dealing with later.

The setup is straightforward cyberpunk fatalism: a world carved up by megacorps and gang law, two people trying to survive it, and no clean way to do both that and stay decent. The overview doesn't dress it up further, so neither will this.

Played as a sandbox RPG, you move David and Kate through Night City making the calls that push them toward corruption or toward keeping it together, with the usual sci-fi trappings and a cast of interracial, gay, and mind-control-flavored entanglements along the way. It's a first release, so treat it as a starting point rather than a finished arc.
