CRYNARIA – Tears in the Abyss

A magical girl wakes up in the ruins of Crynaria with no memory and a disembodied voice for a guide, which is about as reassuring as it sounds. The world runs on rot and want in equal measure, and neither the voice nor the ruins have any interest in explaining themselves.

She heads deeper in anyway, hunting down fragments of the past while the monsters and fallen things she meets treat her less like an intruder and more like prey. Getting her memories back means going through them first, and Crynaria doesn't make that easy.

Play is side-scrolling platformer combat: move through the ruins, fight off the monster girls and beasts standing between you and the next memory, and keep pushing forward even as the dangers stack up. It's a straightforward loop dressed in a grim, hostile world rather than a friendly one.
