About
Verso once had to stand between his father and Gustave on Stone Wave Cliffs, and this visual novel picks up that moment to ask what happens next. It plays it straight as a parody of Expedition 33, not a joke version of it.
The setup borrows the Continent and its expedition wholesale: Gustave's journal tracks the group's travels, the Manor hides its own secrets, and Verso is left to sort out where his loyalties sit once the cliffside standoff is behind him.
Between the reading there's some interacting: swatting nevrons out of the air with Monoco's bell breaks up the visual novel pacing, and how you treat Gustave along the way decides whether the two of you end up as friends or something more, with the game tracking that toward multiple endings.
Changelog
- N/A
- 1) Sounds have been added to the journal! There are separate sounds for:
- Opening the journal and returning to the Index
- Closing the journal
- Turning pages
- Unlocking new entries
- 2) Keyboard controls have been added for the journal! The left and right arrow keys let you navigate between pages, and Esc closes the journal. 3) The gallery buttons in the Main Menu and Pause Menu have been hidden! We’ll bring them back in a future major update when the gallery is functional. 4) The separate background for the kinky ending in the Main Menu has been removed! It now uses the same artwork as the romantic ending. Sorry, folks, we accidentally let you see internal meme. 5) A small text box with the version number (currently v. 1.1) has been added to the bottom-right corner of the Main Menu. 6) Sirene entry now is shown in journal
