Johann is fresh off a breakup with Wendy and filling the void with the occasional workplace hookup, which is the kind of coping mechanism that leads a man to order a cat from a sketchy pop-up ad. The website sells its cats like they might be demons. That should have been the warning sign. Johann buys one anyway.

The cat that shows up days later is not a cat, or at least not one that follows any rules Johann understands, and his ordinary life stops being ordinary the moment it walks in.

Play is visual novel pacing: you follow Johann through the fallout of his bad decision, watching what the not-a-cat actually is and what it wants from him, with lewd animations layered into the later scenes rather than static art doing all the work.
