Campus Chemistry

An aspiring filmmaker who's spent his life watching others take center stage finally gets pulled into campus life and the world of making films, where ambition and self-doubt tend to share the same room.

The story follows him as he forms new connections with people who carry their own agendas, insecurities, and expectations. Some of these relationships come easily; others start on the wrong foot or rest on misunderstandings that don't clear up right away. Not everyone sees him the way he wants to be seen, and what a relationship looks like at first isn't always what it becomes.

Filmmaking isn't set dressing here. Developing ideas, working with actors, and pulling a project together with other people are things the protagonist actually does, and the films that result shape where his relationships go from there. It's less about chasing a single goal than watching friendships shift into something else as everyone involved is forced to look at the gap between who they are and who they'd rather be.
