Broken Harbours

Two solitary souls, Rune and Devon, drift into each other's orbit and slowly figure out whether their fascination is friendship, something more, or both at once. It's a quiet story about old wounds and new beginnings, told with more restraint than most visual novels in this space bother with.

The game stands as a standalone side story to Dawn Chorus, so you don't need history with that title to follow along. What plot there is stays small and personal: two guarded people learning to let each other in, with the past doing its usual work of getting in the way.

You read, choose your responses, and watch the relationship between Rune and Devon take shape at its own pace. The current version restructures the whole thing into a three-act story with reworked scenes, new art, and voiced sex scenes replacing the earlier two-part draft, so the flow holds together better than a first pass usually does.
