About
Christine Watson is a happily married middle-aged mother whose husband just lost his job and scraped together a new one. Money's tight, the thrill of life is missing, and she's left wondering how far she'll go to feel something again.
The setup is plain enough: a wife and mother with a grown son, a teenage daughter, and a marriage that's gone quiet. Whether that quiet turns into comfort or into something riskier is left to the choices you make for her.
You play as Christine day to day, making the decisions that push her toward excitement or keep her settled into loneliness. The game frames this as a stand-in for the player's own instincts, which is a strange thing to say about a story with this much household drama and wandering attention, but there it is.
