About
A new arrival at The Guild sets out to explore a world overrun by creatures born from some past catastrophe, carrying an inherited power to reshape how people perceive things, and by extension, reshape the people themselves.
The world outside is dystopian and hostile, and the Guild's outsiders are the only ones willing to walk into it. That inherited power is the actual hook: you can guide the people you meet or bend them to your own ends, which turns every encounter into a small choice about what kind of influence you want to have.
Progress plays out through exploration and turn based fights against the setting's monsters, with the mind-bending power layered on top as a second axis of interaction, one that pulls in a fair amount of religious and corruption-flavored material as it goes. There's more than one protagonist to see this through, so the perception-warping isn't confined to a single set of eyes.
