Anthems of the Nightside

Someone's dumped you into The Nightside, a place crawling with powerful inhuman entities, probably because Your Local Wizard and Barry the criminal couldn't leave well enough alone. The point isn't sightseeing, it's staying alive.

You survive, you recruit allies, and you find spirits along the way, all in service of the one goal that actually matters here: making it back home in one piece. There's no grand strategy layer to master, just the grind of scraping by in hostile territory while the people and things around you decide whether they're helpful or hungry.

This is the first zone, so treat it as a foothold rather than the whole map. What's here works toward that survival loop; what's not here presumably shows up later.
