Abyssal Lust

You wake up in the dark smelling of melted wax, and a skeleton starts talking to you about fate and sins you don't remember committing. As a detective, you're used to strange cases, but this one keeps pulling you somewhere you were never supposed to go.

The trail leads to an ancient prison and a demon who already knows your secrets, including the hunger you've been trying to ignore. A door that shouldn't exist shows up along the way, and once you walk through it there's no going back to the case you thought you were solving.

You play the detective, following clues through an investigation that keeps warping into something closer to a nightmare, deciding how far you're willing to go with the demon and whatever else waits behind that door. An earlier open-ended exploration mode was scrapped in favor of a more linear chapter structure, so this isn't the wander-around-and-grind kind of game its tags might suggest.
