Abyss of Pleasure 2

Most of the human kingdoms have already fallen to the forces of darkness, and what's left is holding on by the last of its strength. Old stories talk about scattered artifacts called Onems, said to grant total control over that darkness if someone ever gathers them all. Nobody's sure if that's true or just something people tell each other to feel better.

The game follows a female protagonist moving through this collapsing world in search of those artifacts, or at least proof they exist. Whether the legend is real or not is left hanging, which is about as much plot as the setup wants to give you.

Play is sandbox-style exploration across a 2D fantasy map: you move between locations, run into monsters and hostile forces, and get pulled into encounters that range from teasing to outright domination as things go wrong for the protagonist more often than they go right. Combat and traversal exist mainly to set up the next scene rather than the other way around.
