A Long Journey

A colony ship goes wrong, and the MC wakes from cryo-sleep decades early, alone on a drifting vessel with no crew and no answers. He's a software engineer with a dream of building something new on a distant planet; instead he gets empty corridors and a ship that isn't talking.

Earth is dying, megacities are cracking under their own weight, and Hawkink Tech's colony program was supposed to be the way out. That backdrop stays in the margins once the story narrows to the ship itself and to the other person he finds still awake: a red-haired woman who's had months alone to get angry, and who may know more about what happened than she lets on.

Play centers on exploring the ship's few accessible areas and working through conversations and choices with her, uncovering the mechanical failure and the bigger secret behind it while their relationship shifts from wary cooperation into something else. It runs as a sandbox with a decent stash of rendered scenes and a handful of animations, plus some hidden extras for players who go looking instead of just clicking through the main line.
